About a week ago, I watched a movie at the world’s first helipad cinema… and that is a tick off the things-I-want-to-do list! If you haven been to Stratosphere before, you will know that the view there is absolutely gorgeous. But now, you can have a unique outdoor cinematic experience while overlooking the 360-degree panoramic view of the city and greater Klang Valley.
The helipad cinema started on 4th October and will run for a duration of 10 days only… which is till 14th October. There will be movies of all-time favourite classic flicks of various genre from animation (“Up” and “Space Jam”), to black comedy (“Pulp Fiction”), thriller (“The Beach”), drama (“Entrapment”, “Fight Club”, “Erin Brockovich”) and chick flicks (“10 Things I Hate About You”, “Mean Girls” and She’s All That”). You can refer to the poster below for the date and the respective movies on air.
Tickets are priced at RM45 per person with complimentary popcorn and cocktail. There are also snacks and other alcoholic beverages available at the helipad bar, alongside a happy hour promotion where you can try their infamous sunset cocktails for only RM15 from 6pm – 9pm. The movies are screened daily from 8pm onwards, with the second screening at around 10PM. For the purchase of tickets, do head on over to www.helipadcinema.com.
For this outdoor movie experience, there will be comfy beanbag seats along with wireless headphones provided for you to enjoy the movie screening under the under the stars and the skyline of the city. I honestly can’t think of any better way to unwind after a long day. The views up there are always so breath-taking despite the numerous times I’ve been there.
So, what are you waiting for? If you would like to experience a movie on a helipad, under the stars… hurry on over to get your tickets before they get sold out! >> www.helipadcinema.com. If you ask me, I think this would be a perfect date idea too!
Till next time,
xoxo

Interesting! Just want to ask your opinion, is this cinema suitable to bring kids along? Is there any parents come here with their kids?

Hi Siti Sarah! When I attended the event, there was no parents with kids. But you can check with the organiser if kids are allowed, if your kids are able to watch and enjoy the movie throughout it all, I'm sure it won't be an issue.
